“The aim was to create a meeting between a video artist carried by a particular universe and Breakdance amateur dancers from the town of Alençon, to produce a DVD consisting by one or several video pieces. For the Bains-Douches in Alençon, it was precisely to highlight a concern for social and cultural proximity. (…)(This DVD) supports a project of singular work of David Ayoun : singular by its nature, since it is his practice as an artist, here carried out with the tools and vocabulary of the video, and by the situation built around the residence at Bains-Douches d’Alençon in July 2011.“
